Best co-host ever! Is it September 17th yet?” she wrote.
This season also marks a shift in the roster of professional dancers. Peta Murgatroyd, who has been a long-standing pro on the show, announced she would be taking a break this season. It’s just too soon.” Murgatroyd and her husband, Maks Chmerkovskiy, welcomed their baby boy, Milan, in July. The couple also shares Shai, 7, and Rio, 13 months. Despite her absence this season, Murgatroyd’s love for the show remains strong. Last season, she was paired with Barry Williams and returned to the ballroom just 10 weeks after giving birth to Rio. “I miss dance. I miss the show,” she told E! News in September 2023.
On the other hand, Witney Carson has announced her return to the competition after a two-year hiatus. You guys are going to die.”
