
The Atlanta entertainment community is mourning the loss of renowned radio host Wanda Smith, who passed away on Saturday, just one day after celebrating her birthday. Smith’s passing was announced by Rick Caffey, Senior Vice President and Market Manager of Atlanta’s V-103 radio.

“Our hearts are weighing heavier today as we grieve the loss of our beloved Wanda Smith, someone who always made us smile and was a big part of V-103 for years,” Caffey shared on Instagram. “We extend our deepest prayers and condolences to her family.”
A Legacy in Radio
Smith co-hosted the popular “Frank and Wanda in the Morning” show on V-103 (WVEE-FM) from 1998 to 2019, taking only a brief hiatus in 2013. She returned in 2014 to co-host alongside Ryan Cameron.
