Comedian John Mulaney and actor Olivia Munn have welcomed their second child, a daughter named Méi June Mulaney.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, Munn shared that their daughter was born via a surrogate on Thursday. Alongside a photo of the couple with their newborn on a hospital bed, Munn expressed deep emotions about the surrogacy journey.

“I had so many profound emotions about not being able to carry my daughter,” Munn wrote. “When I first met our gestational surrogate, we connected as mothers. She showed me so much grace and understanding, and I knew I had found a real-life angel. Words cannot express my gratitude for keeping our baby safe for nine months and making our dreams come true.”
Munn also explained that Méi (pronounced “may”) means “plum” in Chinese.
Mulaney, 42, and Munn, 44, who tied the knot in July, also have a 2-year-old son, Malcolm. Earlier this year, Munn revealed she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy. In a March interview with People, she credited Mulaney for his unwavering support, saying it “would have felt like climbing an iceberg without him.”
The couple, who began dating in 2021, welcomed their first child in November of that year.
