Vice President Kamala Harris has secured endorsements from four prominent Republicans in just four days, signaling growing bipartisan support in her race against Donald Trump.

The latest endorsement comes from former Arizona Senator Jeff Flake, who announced his support on Sunday. Flake emphasized his desire to back a candidate focused on “a new generation of leadership based not on grievances of the past, but hope for the future.”

Flake’s endorsement follows Thursday’s announcement by former Kansas Senator Nancy Kassebaum, alongside former Kansas State Senator Sandy Praeger and retired federal judge Deanell Reece Tacha, who also backed Harris. In a joint statement, the trio acknowledged their decision to support Harris was difficult but driven by a desire to contribute to a brighter future.

“We fervently believe that we must do our part to try to build a brighter future, which is why we will be voting for Kamala Harris and [Minnesota Governor Tim Walz] in this election,” they wrote, adding that while no candidate is perfect, Harris aligns with the values they believe will guide America forward.

Harris has also garnered support from over 100 former Republican officials, including national security experts and members of Congress, who signed a letter declaring Trump “unfit to serve again” as president. Signatories include former Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger, former Homeland Security adviser Olivia Troye, and ex-CIA/FBI director William Webster.

Additionally, ex-Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney, a vocal critic of Trump, has endorsed Harris. Cheney’s father, former Republican Vice President Dick Cheney, also voiced his support, warning that Trump is “a greater threat to our republic” than any other individual in U.S. history.

Other Republicans throwing their support behind Harris include Jimmy McCain, son of the late Senator John McCain, former Trump press secretary Stephanie Grisham, and ex-Georgia Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan.

The “Republicans for Harris” coalition has also formed, with members such as Mesa, Arizona Mayor John Giles and former Arizona State Representative Robin Shaw. Other notable figures include former Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, ex-Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, and former U.S. Treasurer Rosario Marin.

A growing number of former GOP Congress members have also endorsed Harris, including:

  • Rod Chandler (WA)
  • Tom Coleman (MO)
  • Dave Emery (ME)
  • Wayne Gilchrest (MD)
  • Jim Greenwood (PA)
  • John LeBoutillier (NY)
  • Susan Molinari (NY)
  • Jack Quinn (NY)
  • Denver Riggleman (VA)
  • Claudine Schneider (RI)
  • Christopher Shays (CT)
  • Peter Smith (VT)
  • Alan Steelman (TX)
  • David Trott (MI)
  • Joe Walsh (IL)

These endorsements reflect a shift within certain Republican circles, as many of these figures see Harris as the more suitable candidate for the future of American leadership.
