Linkin Park is set to hit the road for the first time since the tragic death of lead singer Chester Bennington, with some fresh faces joining the iconic rock band. The Grammy-winning group is preparing to release their eighth album, “From Zero,” and will embark on the From Zero World Tour this fall, as announced by Live Nation on Thursday.

The six-date arena tour will visit major cities worldwide, including Los Angeles, New York, Hamburg, London, Seoul, and Bogota. It kicks off on September 11, 2024, with a concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Exclusive fan club presales start on Friday, and tickets go on sale to the general public on Saturday. In a new chapter for the band, Linkin Park, which consists of Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, and Joe Hahn, is expanding its lineup. Singer-songwriter Emily Armstrong, co-founder of the alternative rock band Dead Sara, will join as co-vocalist, while rock producer Colin Brittain will take over as the band’s drummer. Armstrong and Brittain were recruited after participating in informal studio sessions with the band.

“The more we worked with Emily and Colin, the more we enjoyed their world-class talents, their company, and the things we created,” said Mike Shinoda in a statement. “We feel empowered with this new lineup and the vibrant, energized music we’ve made together.”

Chester Bennington, who fronted Linkin Park since their 2000 debut album “Hybrid Theory,” died by suicide at the age of 41 in July 2017. The band went on an extended hiatus following his death.
