Erik ten Hag has announced his Manchester United lineup for today’s clash against Tottenham at Old Trafford. Although the Premier League season is still in its early stages, today’s match has become crucial for both teams, with kickoff scheduled for 16:30 BST.

Fans can expect an exciting match as United aims to find their rhythm. Ten Hag has opted for three changes from the midweek draw with FC Twente in the Europa League. Matthijs de Ligt returns to partner Lisandro Martinez in defense, while Alejandro Garnacho starts on the right wing in place of Amad. Despite impressing with a stunning goal on Wednesday, Christian Eriksen will begin the match on the bench, making way for Kobbie Mainoo to join Manuel Ugarte in the midfield. Harry Maguire is absent from the squad, but fellow defender Victor Lindelof is available as a substitute.

On the Spurs side, the significant news is that captain Son Heung-min has not recovered in time from the injury he sustained during their Europa League opener against Qarabag, meaning he will not feature in today’s match.
