A former staffer is suing California state Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil, alleging severe injury and sexual harassment resulting from an incident in which he was injured while performing oral sex in a cramped car seat. Chad Condit claims that after the incident, Alvarado-Gil pushed him around a casino in a wheelchair and made sexual comments during the ride.

Condit, who served as Alvarado-Gil’s chief of staff, is seeking damages for sexual harassment, retaliation, and violation of California labor laws. He alleges that Alvarado-Gil created a hostile work environment filled with sexual discussions and inappropriate behavior. According to the lawsuit, Alvarado-Gil would frequently talk about other staff members’ sex lives and showed Condit her phone with details about another staff member’s activities.
The lawsuit details an incident during a staff retreat where Condit was reportedly injured performing oral sex for Alvarado-Gil. Condit claims the injury, which resulted in three herniated discs and a collapsed hip, was aggravated by the confined space of the car seat. After being discharged from the hospital, Condit’s wife drove him to a casino staff retreat after-party, where Alvarado-Gil allegedly pushed him around in a wheelchair and made further sexual remarks.
Alvarado-Gil’s attorney, Ognian Gavrilov, has denied the allegations, calling Condit a “disgruntled former employee” and dismissing the claims as an “outlandish story” in a statement to The New York Post.
