The 50th season of “Saturday Night Live” is bringing fresh faces to the cast as it bids farewell to a few members.

New additions to the cast include Ashley Padilla, Emil Wakim, and Jane Wickline, according to Deadline.

Ashley Padilla, a member of The Groundlings’ Main Company since 2021, has also appeared on “Night Court” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

Emil Wakim, a Lebanese-American comedian, was named New Face of Comedy at the 2022 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and made his debut on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” the same year.

Jane Wickline gained popularity on TikTok and is known for her role on the show “Stapleview.” She also appears in the 2024 Mubi film “My First Film” and is currently touring with her comedy.

Current cast member Chloe Troast announced on social media that she will not be returning for the new season, stating, “Unfortunately, I was not asked back to SNL this season. I wish I was going back to be with all the amazing friends I made there; it truly felt like home. But it wasn’t in the cards.”

Punkie Johnson and Molly Kearney have also confirmed they will not be returning for Season 50.

The milestone season of “SNL” is expected to feature several celebratory moments, along with the return of former cast member Maya Rudolph, who will reprise her role as Vice President Kamala Harris for occasional appearances.
