Sony Pictures has dropped the final trailer for “Venom The Last Dance,” the concluding film in the Venom trilogy. Tom Hardy returns as Eddie Brock, the host of the symbiote Venom from the “Spider-Man” comics. According to the official logline, “Eddie and Venom are on the run, hunted by both of their worlds. As the net tightens, they must make a heart-wrenching decision that will mark the end of their saga.”

The cast for this final installment includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.

Kelly Marcel, who wrote and produced the first two “Venom” films, takes on the role of director for “The Last Dance,” working from a screenplay she authored. Marcel and Hardy, who also developed the story for this film, produced it alongside Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker, with Joe Caracciolo Jr. serving as executive producer.

Tom Hardy’s previous entries in the Venom franchise, 2018’s “Venom” and 2021’s “Venom: Let There Be Carnage,” both premiered in October. The first film, directed by Ruben Fleischer, earned $856 million worldwide, while “Let There Be Carnage,” directed by Andy Serkis, grossed $502 million globally despite pandemic-related challenges.

The post-credits scene of “Let There Be Carnage” featured Eddie/Venom being transported into the MCU, where he briefly encountered Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. Eddie/Venom later appeared in the post-credits scene of “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” before being returned to their own universe, leaving behind a fragment of symbiote.

“Venom The Last Dance” is set to hit theaters on October 25.
