The Pittsburgh Steelers remain in search of a wide receiver, and the New Orleans Saints may have just provided an ideal option. The Saints have waived second-year wideout A.T. Perry, and if Pittsburgh is fortunate enough, they could land him.

Perry showed promise toward the end of his rookie campaign in 2023, finishing with 12 receptions for 246 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also started three games for New Orleans. However, his struggles to climb the Saints’ depth chart ultimately led to his release.

Standing 6-foot-4 with a long wingspan, Perry is a big target with solid speed, having run a 4.47 40-yard dash at the scouting combine. The Wake Forest product was selected by the Saints in the sixth round of the draft.

Pittsburgh, currently lacking receiver production outside of George Pickens, has been rumored to be eyeing a trade for Raiders star Davante Adams. However, claiming Perry off waivers could provide the Steelers with a high-potential addition to their receiving corps.
