Texans vs Vikings: Key Players and Broadcast Details for Week 3 Showdown. Danielle Hunter, Stefon Diggs, Cam Akers and Kris Boyd are all poised to suit up for the Texans and play in their first game as a visitor to U.S. Bank Stadium.
Hunter will be in a 55 jersey, Diggs is now sporting 1, Akers is donning 22 and Boyd is rocking 17 for a Houston team that is 2-0 for the first time since 2016.
Aaron Jones, Sr., is no stranger to facing Hunter in games from the running back’s time with the Packers.
“How fast he gets off the ball, how creative he is on his rushes. You’ve seen the spin move a lot,” Jones said, wading into Hunter’s talents. “He’s kind of like a freak of nature with how fast he is, moving at his size. He’s 6-5, which you don’t see a lot on the football field, either. The guy has never eaten a carb. He’s cut-up. You see him and you’re like, ‘This guy looks different from everybody else.’ He’s a special player.”
The Vikings also are 2-0 for the first time since 2016, and that’s with help from several former Texans, including Jonathan Greenard, Blake Cashman, Shaq Griffin, Kamu Grugier-Hill and David Quessenberry.
